I'm hanging on a rope
Exploring the wonders of the universe Looking at the scenery below me Which is not too far down I'm searching for a clue To find a perfect landing To avoid a fall Or find a perfect crash I've lost my sense of direction And hoping for a clue If someone could tell me Or whether I already knew Holding onto the rope I tried to focus on the ground Then suddenly something hit me The thought I finally found I'm looking for a direction To get a happy landing However I lost all satisfaction Because there is no perfect landing I tried to hold on to the rope Then I decided to let go Let go of the fear That kept me clinging on I had to let go And find the perfect landing As the distance became closer I would fall unto the ground The ground would never hurt me Because of the patch I truly found The fall led me to serenity A perfect direction in life Only You could determine Whether it's life or strive So I could no longer hold on To the things I cherish most As I know that fear could destroy me If I hold it too close ![]() © 2015 LyndyReviews
