Generally ConfusedA Poem by Sara Caitlan VanZantNonsense, mostlyThin wisps of spider-web cling to this peg. The last of my refusals. Turn and walk away, is my advice. Ripping seams and frayed hems. Heart-breakers with broken hearts. We're just a joke, The Divine Comedy, orbiting us both. Whether it's forever, or just tonight, I don't think you know my face. Then or now, run or walk... Stay frozen where you are, dripping from the heat of a summer sky. Fingers are curled, tears turn to salt Snow in the summer-time--Christmas in July. Words are clinging to my throat, but are they yours or mine? Tell me what to do. Give me a map, an atlas, show me the way. Mark my path with a red pen, my destination with an '"x", or just lead me astray. © 2014 Sara Caitlan VanZantReviews
