Nightmare

Nightmare

A Story by Sara Mima
"

The nightly, subconscious musings of E.Avery.

"

By youth of country

Hands twisted and flick

I was damned the day I began to understand

Oh, the flames reached the sky

I cry, "Are You all right?"

As normal, I get no reply

I drop to my knees and lay down my arms

You should, too, brother

I see else's parchment

Awaiting me, he spoke with a voice that disrupted the sky

Gaze downcast, I can never see beneath his hood

I tell him, "Let me sign."

A marked contract

I am left with a new friend

He tells me to call him when need be

As he plucked each feather away

I was damned by the light coming in

Oh, the lights burned through

He told me, "Walk on over, yeah, to the bitter shade.

I will wrap you in my arms and run."

And I, "Let me sign."

Again, I plea, "Let me sign..!"

I'm a fan of Robert Pattinson's music. Inspired by his song entitled "Let Me Sign".
