A Homemade Taste

A Homemade Taste

A Poem by Sunflower/Sara Kendrick
"

Quitain (English)...

"

Thoughts of you are like a field of golden  butterflies

O mirth dancing in your eyes, vision caught by surprise

Taste of jelly homemade from homegrown blackberries

An emerald forest glade under muted Cobalt skies

Holding you on cool spring nights_look into brown eyes

Wonder of love that last and amalgamates

Like the sprinkling of seeds from blooms that amass

Our love finds reasons and ideas that accomodates

Remembering times when upon that green grass

Like looking through church windows of fine stain glass

This poem is full of color and emotions, I love the beginning the best with the golden butterflies.

This could be the lyrics of a beautiful song, played by violins, celloes, oboe or similar .. you've created such wonderful scenes, full of colour and true love. 'An emerald forest glade under muted Cobalt skies'

This was absolutely beautiful.
I pretty much liked the descriptions.
"Remembering times when upon that green grass" - loved that line.
