Bouquet Of FlowersA Poem by Sunflower/Sara KendrickFree VerseIn early June, down a country road Where all the spring flowers bloom
Pale Pink Tulips that open to kiss the sun On sturdy stems stiff like starched laundry
Above Sakura's double pink incipient efflorescence glamour, An opulent delight for the human eye.. Dulcet taste to entice the near by bees
Those bees who enjoy Pampas Grass That flowers of such elegant white
Let me pick Tulips by six Pampas Grass in threes
Prune Sakura limbs to help make a bouquet complete Snip eight Jonquils whose blooms of sunny yellow please
Gather some White Narcissus who guard the garden gate How their blooms' fragrance remind me of such a spring day
Wisteria gone wild draping all the trees Gather some to hang from the vase for me
Serendipity __hidden under the trailing vine_ Purple Hyacinth ancient flower graced with ardent aroma Sumptuous sturdy green stems Let me gather plenty to add to my halcyon day
