Sun On Treetops

Sun On Treetops

A Poem by Sunflower/Sara Kendrick
"

Sonnet,

"

When the sun gently kisses horizon

Bouncing and bubbling with firey red cheeks

Signals that it's a good morn for emblazon

While sunlight dances my love with lips seek

Aroma of coffee wafts on morn's air

As the dove's quiet cooing their love to seek

Sun on treetops has red kisses to share

Lover in morn's sunbeams kisses sneak

Delight the sun has brought; wind kisses sought

Great day animals rejoice as sunbeams

Lighting, enlighting , delighting_free thought

Good mornings are filled with many daydreams

Aroma of coffee wafts on morn's air

Sun on treetops has red kisses to share

I love your dance with daylight and the delight in your love... There is such a freedom, and the fragrance of coffee only adds to that joy! Beautiful work!
