Double RainbowA Poem by Sunflower/Sara KendrickShort, rhymeAs the sun was setting at day's end A storm started raging came around bend It came closer; too close into our lives For there was lightning, thunder, strife
Fear would have consumed us that night As we shook with each roll and strike But God in his mercy sent a rainbow Not just one rainbow but two in a row
Understand ther is a scientific explanation That addresses the reasons behind the bow But that rainbow was God sent for I needed so A little sign from above that he was still there
And he was tenderly holding me in his care When the storms are raging on the tempestuous sea Remember there are still rainbows for you and me God is still alive, working our problems to bear
