Under The Rose Trellis

Under The Rose Trellis

A Poem by Sunflower/Sara Kendrick
"

Choka, the longest of Japanese Haiku type poem...

"

                             Running Pale Pink Rose

                       On the trellis grows_soft scent

                             Wafts on morning air

                               Under rose trellis

                       You steal a kiss__Oh! Blissful

                            Lips that taste of rose

There is something special about a rose, a kiss, and a poem...
They are all rather "minuscule" in the grand scheme of things. Yet, they all have the power to change this world into a better place...
Much like you Sara as an author... Making the world a better place.
Lovely!

You know I haven't written much in the form of Haiku or Senryu, but I enjoy the power that when written well they posses in such little diction. You have wrote a great verse full of passion and awe in the sight of love.

Great Write!

"The miniscule is very important.." indeed
This poem shows the truth in your statement.
A joy of life compacted..but highly visual
in six short lines..
enjoyed
