Phenomenal SmileA Poem by Sar Jayne
did it light up his world?
did the spark of flames take his heart by storm? lightning and thunderheads causing a power outage in her brain cuz all the light is shining through her eyes. i feel no inspiration loss of collection of thoughts my heart remembers and my pain forgets loving adoration of what it all was she stares "at the green stars beside her" and he smiles and giggles with glee i sing a song in my head that we made up and sung one night so long ago while the boy man played harp like a pro playing an angel's song and us both playing along we both got hurt and cried and now we're better friends tonight the star's spun and i spun out all the blame on him the little girl is changing and wishing to forget all her childish fancies, childish dreams foolish demands foolish decisions the pen stops and the ink dries along with her tears and her life is happy or so she says and though i don't believe her truly i have not been called a skeptic yet. the ring she so casually flashes is her hearts light with out all the roses i used to feel they all grew up without me but now i understand that i am the one who is leaving the boys stole into the liquor cabinet and lil tommy played Russian roulette who knew the price to pay the buzz felt so great got left behind a long with that slack jaw fear and he thought i had no experience along with his so called clearness of thought but poetry is coming back and it doesn't matter if this lacks a rhyme or reason cuz i'll end it unclearly and cheerily say you color me happy or i am a dreamer but i deny it til the day i die or January 14. more likely heal for the honey. all day long. © 2010 Sar JayneAuthor's Note
