Galaxies, scientifically, are groups of stars. You can't see galaxies, scientifically, like you seem them in pictures. We aren't that big. But galaxies are seen every day by everyday people. Everyone has a powerful galaxy inside them. In their complicated soul resides an even more complicated galaxy. Every emotion we will ever contain, every thought, every joy, every sorrow, can be made into a could, a star, a color, a shape designed specifically to our reaction. The depths of our souls are reached. Every flaw has a place, every corner a pigment. Each galaxy is as unique as every person, every sunset, every eye. After all, the eye is the window to the soul, is it not? The eyes are where we see galaxies. Each and every day we will see a new galaxy in a single person. A new galaxy appears at the mention of a name, or when the sunlight ever so slightly illuminates the iris. When a tear threatens to spill, when a laugh changes its shape.
Falling in love? Its understanding and loving a galaxy more than your own. You will notice every new galaxy in one person. And your galaxy will change with it. You might gain the same hues, the same stars, the same clouds. The language of your souls can be translated, and not only translated, but understood. You will want nothing more than to sit all day, staring into their eyes, and naming each new color. memorizing the new clouds and their shape, noting the brightness of each new star. You shall feed on their eyes, be dependent on their eyes, their soul. You'll drink up their sadness, their joy, their fears and their dreams, making them your own. You will always, always, always want more of their galaxy.
