Its hard waking up

and knowing your no longer mine

and when i need to cry

your no longer at my side

 

the days i dont need you

your the one who is there

and the day's i do

you always walk away

 

and when we saw each other again

you acted as if you never hurt me

like nothing ever happened

like it was still you and me

 

you walk with your head high

while im on the ground

trying to pick up the peices

of that broken heart of mine

 

i think about you all the time

i can never get you off my mind

im starting to fall behind

im starting to lose my faith

 

but theres nothing left to do

but try to pretend and try to forget

but boy we both know
