Never Far Behind

to the two people who care about me more then anyone in this town.

 

My eyes are blind folded

My mouth taped shut

My thoughts escaped my mind

My feelings left my heart.

 

Walking into the cold dark place

Taking each step as slow as I can

The sounds of the water dripping

And the feeling of rain on my face.

 

I feel so forgotten

I feel so alone

I feel like tears are pouring down my face

And I have no where left to go

 

I fall to the ground

Until a hand pulls me

Takes off the blind flood

And rips the tape off my mouth

 

They say words of wisdom giving me thoughts

They touch my heart and give me feelings

Suddenly the air is no longer cold

And I don’t feel forgotten or alone

 

My bestfriends have come

To hold my hand

To lead me the right way

To help me find my place
