Love-Note Confetti

Love-Note Confetti

A Poem by Sapphire Dreams
"

Letting go, finally moving on

"

Love-note Confetti

Love-note confetti

Dances around me

I lift my face to its glory

I’m letting go

Finally

Moving on

The wounds you left

Upon my heart

Have faded

I freefall

No longer

Your controlling grasp

Is loosening

Releasing my life

To be itself

And dance

With fairies

On toadstools

All around the garden

If that is what

I want to do

My dreams

No longer

Have to include you

As a piece

Of the puzzles

That makes them

Mine

You no longer fit

I’m back

And learning

To love myself

For whom I am

As a friend

You’re welcome

In my world

But I need you for

No more than that

And won’t bleed

If you’re less

I’m letting go

Finally

Moving on

You left cuts

They are     Confetti
