Your Dusk, My Dawn: Prologue

Your Dusk, My Dawn: Prologue

A Story by Riri Darkwood
"

Alekandera Kurotii seems to be just your average, kind next door neighbour (if a little unusual). So what happens when you find out her exact bloodthirsty nature? Will you fret, attack or ... help?

"

Prologue: Pure Evil

Cowering pitifully in a dark corner, my prey glares weakly at me, though the terror inside is painfully evident (in his case). Evilly I snarl and slowly stalk towards him, the gleaming silver knife raised. Ready to strike.

My hair, once silvery blonde, is now a bloody mass trailing down my back, a souvenior from the desperate fight that took place earlier. Blood dripping on my sharp white fangs and trickling down my chin, the menacing fangs clash a little with my teeth as I scowl. Gleaming and silver, my eyes dimly shine with pure evil greed; I can’t wait to batter and murder this b*****d! Once slim and pale, my figure is now bruised, but it's worth it by a long shot ...

Zarudo, my prey, is hunched witheringly in the dark alcove of this dingy garage, but his worthless head is raised and his cold black eyes stare and stare and stare at me menacingly, though his terror shines through ...

Matted with a scarlet substance which can only be blood, his hair and skin are both identical colours - mousy and dirty with a bloody red tint. Evidently, due to the lack of violent retaliation and the look in his dim eyes, Zarudo is terrified.

Yes, he better be scared of me; the Dark Angel, the one who was thrown out of Heaven with a sharp bite. Literally.

“You killed my little Aurukota, didn’t you, Zarudo?” I accuse, my eyes flashing with venom as I stare at the raggedy little man before me (he’s nothing without his trusty wizard’s staff). “You killed my daughter!”

Shakily, but with a certain amount of loathing in his voice, he hisses back, “I did nothing such, Alekandera … I just used her …”

What! Liar. I won’t give him the luxury of living any longer – he is to torment and mutiliate my soul no more.

What does he mean by 'I just used her'? a traitorous, distracting little voice in my head asks.

No, no. Concentrate on killing this worthless piece of s**t.

But what does he mean by 'I just used her'?

NO! Just focus on murdering this b*****d at my feet!

Sharply, I bring the knife down, and the silver blade cuts deep through his neck. Screaming, he struggles to avoid more pain, but I pin him down with my body and grit my teeth as I proceed to kill him in the most brutal way I can. Why not … he killed my daughter!

Oh, I almost forgot. When I'm sure he's deceased, I kneel down quickly, latch my carnivorous mouth and fangs onto his deathly white pale neck, and suck every last drop of blood from it.

I don't have a beta yet, so the grammar might be a little bit iffy ... ! If you read this, please tell me what you think. Positive comments are fine, so is constructive criticism, but PLEASE no flames. This is my first story and I'd like to go through it without much shit.

Thanks,

I think it is a wonderful beginning. It draws me in and makes me want more. It gives as much as it keeps.
I like it and would love to read more.
Don't worry, grammer is almost always iffy. XD
Congrats on a good start to your first story.
