Their Visit

It's about two cats who regularly visit a writer's home library

They visit him almost every day, mostly in his library, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon or sometimes at the same time, but that’s rare. When that happens, they don’t fight! It seems there is some pact between them, a sort of mutual understanding, or maybe it’s one ignoring the other. Oh! Have I told you that he has named them too? Their names are Dude and Minnie; Dude likes to claim that he’s the chief librarian and feels pride to be in the company of the books.He likes to be left undisturbed in his favourite spot, a long table in the library, and he mostly stays indifferent. But Minnie doesn’t claim any title. Rather, she craves and demands love and affection on her every visit and stays back much longer than Dude.
