Thoughtless…

 

A world around me,

A life to live

But I’m too numb

To live a life

Like the one planned for me.

 

I can’t see past you,

Even though I have

No regrets…

 

I can’t stare past

The blank canvas

To see the life

Already alive in it.

 

I gaze into the innocence

And wish I had some too.

Regretting the nirvana

Of the innocence;

Wishing

Hoping

Dreaming.

 

I look at the blank page

And wish

It could draw itself to see.

Tell a story
