She Walks

She Walks

A Poem by Saphire Stridon-Traencendyis
"

This poem is about a girl who was raped by a stranger and one day, as she walks down the street sees her rapist acting like an innocent man.

"
She walks-
In anguish,
In fear…
Her rapist
Is still out there-
Somewhere.

She never told a soul,
That she had looked
Directly into the eyes-
Of death… and lived.

Death-
It weakened
Every bit of her soul,
Yet,
It strengthened,
Every bit of her.

She had no name
to call him
so she stuck with
‘him.’

He had stolen-
Her virginity,
Her innocence,
Her sanity.

And he walks
And she walks-
Alone,
Only to stare
When she finds him,
Walking freely-

Down that street again.

Poem told a sad and powerful story. In some situation in life. We can be push to madness. To face a rapist would be a emotion to create hate and desire to create pain. Poem is very good. Ending left me sad. A excellent poem.

wow. its so sad that men actually do that to women. just so they can be in control and dominate. and even to just get a hint of pleasure.
you caught the feeling well.
