Shattered

Shattered

A Poem by Saphire Stridon-Traencendyis

I look into a broken mirror
And all I see
Is a broken heart.
I see a girl,
Who’s soul was torn apart
By a fake.

She says I deserve to live
But she
Is the one who deserves to live.
She has a whole life
Ahead of her to learn
The lessons
I never could.

My ticket to hell,
Already been stamped.
My soul
Already gone.
What am I supposed to do
With a broken heart
And no soul?

I wish you were here,
In my arms.
Don’t ever let go,
Because I don’t know
What I would do
Without you.

Sorrow and Disbelief
Honesty and Faith,
Believe in me,
My mind is changing,
My misdirection diminishing.

I feel alone
When I look at your bare arms
And see them clean.
You stopped,
And I couldn’t.
Like the fool I am,
All I can do,
Is crave the high,
Crave the blood.

I can’t feel you
Watching over.
I can’t hear you
Lending a heart.
I can’t love
Without your guidance.
I can’t hate
Without your love.

I miss
Your soft words,
Your gentle kiss,
But most of all
Being in your arms.

You saved me
From myself.
You loved me
For my heart’s sake

And I loved you for every moment of it.
