My dearest love

My dearest love

A Poem by Saphire Stridon-Traencendyis

So much fear
Coursing through my veins
As I begin to question
The love I hold
So dear to me.

I ask of you aloud;
“What makes you so sure…?
What sets me apart from her?”
When I’m really only searching
For my own answer.

Why do I love you?
What makes me so sure
That this is true love?

The answer lies within
The simplicity of the words,
The inability to speak
Whenever you come near
Even though
I have a million things

To share on this new day.
