a love gone.

I left a letter
an open letter
asking for forgiveness
you never read it
so you continued on
breaking my heart
I left a letter
contents of which
stated why I needed to part
ways with your vascular organ
this love is pernicious
a part of me dreading and forcing
I ask for your forgiveness
in hope, your heart is still whole
if you finish this
and I
am long gone and
asking for our love
to be dismissed.
