What is love?

What is love?

A Story by Saol Ryderl

what is love and how do we feel this?

What is love? Why do we search for this internal feeling that we cannot seem to understand and exactly how does this burst of emotions cause us to do things we do not want to do in the first place? Perhaps, we have been thinking too much on how love is supposed to be and we have lost our soul purpose of what really connects our heart. As the connection is lost from our heart to brain our reactions towards the unconditional feeling becomes lost in a tragic world. How do we expect our brain and mind to comprehend love when it has to be felt not understood. Our first organ: the heart is not only the bodies’ main pumping system, and not only does it make every organ possible to function, but it also sends electric magnetic wave signals 500,000 times stronger to the cerebral cortex then the actual brain. Now to what great importance are we such in a rush to find and fulfill and follow this voyage or conquest and why are we so eager to betray one another for this word "love". Have we not felt anyone as a human being or have we labeled anything else worth of some value to be ignorant or foolish? Have we unfortunately slumped down to the impulses or reactions of animal instinct? Now there is a line between the train of thought of an animal and human and we know that these instinct and impulsive behaviors have been bestowed upon us as a great burden of our existence, but we cannot not disregard our full-heartedness and understanding, and also that we share something with the world, something that’s deeply rooted somewhere in between the human and nature a true feeling that has been with us forever and that will last forever. We as humans have to find the true understanding of our purpose; we have to understand that these objects of nature, plants and animals, are on earth for our human healing not our harm. Lets go back to the natural, let us not forget what got us here in the first place. Too much has been neglected from the heart and now “we think too much and feel too little”, for what our future holds I hope there is change. Let us be born again, let us fulfill our destiny, and lets not forget the love we share everyday that cries for more attention: the love of nature.
