Unfamiliar

Unfamiliar

A Poem by Sawyer Kidd

Ponder a pane of silver hue glass,

How much time has come to pass?

Similar to me,

Though it is only you.

Strangers eyes,

that I come to view.

Speaking in tongues,

Though the message is clear.

Study deeper,

And you’ve come too near.

Shadow me too,

A thoughtless mime.

Can’t I see?

These eyes are mine.
