TREESA Poem by S.A.LimIt is inspired with William Shakespeare's "The Tree".
He’s striking out in distance
likely perceives a morph" curvus, of its tedious kneeling, apparently foreshadow the king’s foot of Israel. Theatrical piano’s on chirche, makes supplication in distress, whilst candle of its own life safeguard the obscure and hopeless grave. Flourishing unbroken water on his foothills, thou wept on sunrise ‘til eyes rest, devoted space for love birds, hanging freely on his limbs. As that stream keeps on shimmering, foretell of unending tears in spring, as if moon’s beseeching, whimper thy with his gloomy smile. Melodious sound every rosaries, cues him lamentations, birds on offshoot covered with veils, stream on his foot flowing of tears. And look what he’d reached, with own joy, drought and dead. Made into cross of unfaithful love and knight of hollow in midst of dark. Ain’t nothing, night were shroud of mourning, blindfold of his paling face! Living which drowned in proneness, birds and man won’t never feel happiness. Reminisce time of yesterday, that he was lush and leafy tree. Yet now, mountain turns to city, coal is to him to make fire for thee, make stand for him and vanish never, today! © 2019 S.A.Lim |
