Miracle

Amongst this huge noise,
When I mutely behold
That-
Last leaf -withering away
Taciturn- I stand!

The eyes hence rolls around
To catch the glimpse of
The last voyage of the roving clouds…
That river where meanders
The last hope!

Round the bend,
I may sound, my folks!
For I fancy that
those dying flowers
must blossom…
For it must see
What it means to me!

If only the prayers would
have worked !
I could see the shining Sun
amidst the nights!
And the thorns of cactus
Could never pierce my heart!

This gust of air brings in
The hope!
That the rain shall drench my land
That the wind will blow off the sand…
That the mighty heaven will speak-
A word!

Blind-folded, I am
For I trust merely- in

Some miracle can happen and we are too blind to see them. I like the desire and hope in this poem. we must hold on to hope and dreams. miracles can happen if the heart and mind gather many with the same. Thank you for the excellent poem.

Maybe a miracle might come true one day ... all you need is to believe .. It's a great poem :))

There's no need to appologise for sounding selfish. Poetry is designed for personal things - in the hope that others understand. People only do understand if you write it well. And this poem, I do very much understand...

Therefore. Great poem :) Thanks for sharing!

This was a great poem. One line irked me though "And the thorns of cactus
Could never pierce my heart!" sounded very cliche.

There nothing selfish in wanting those things that we know or believe will make us whole.. like a puzzle pieces are coming to us in small bits at times and we know and can see the puzzle finished ..and that makes us struggle and want.. Be patient with you and and your needs.. breathe in the love that surrounds you and hold it in your heart as you manifest your dreams right in front of you..xo
