An Abyss

An Abyss

A Poem by Sanjeeta Sharma Pokharel "Hridayaninadini"

When I am with you-

You complete me

I am a part of you

You are the World!

But sometimes

I fear

Confusion

That creates an abyss

Between you and me

Even a little distance, I abhor!

And this happened,

A chasm went fathomless

You went away,

For no reason!

I got many hands to rob these tears,

But

None of them

Was Yours!

Still I am delving…

 Now,

I remembered

How you helped me

In crossing

All the hurdles…

6

But,

I am full of tears

You flew away

With the flock

Lies in me, a mere hope!

How shall I,

Say you

Where I am!

        Completely

Lonely

In this throng of strangers

Anticipating…

i really like the flow of this, especially the ending!

in the second stanza, i think you mean "sometimes" instead of "sometime"

The last word one like the final stitch on a finely tailored suit.
A complete emotional description here, taking this reader into reflection and remembrance.
A complete and very well done piece of writing...the pics were a visual bonus!

A great combination of the logos aspect of our expression with the verbal expression and meaning. Its reference to winged creatures may be accurate but somebody forgot to tell that to the female of the species. Nice write!

I like the photos. Gave strength to the story. You create a situation with a sad ending. Thank you for the excellent poem.
