The Synecdoche- The 9/11

The Synecdoche- The 9/11

A Poem by Sanjeeta Sharma Pokharel "Hridayaninadini"

Gently …

Creeps in the life

In this “single” Earth
And sprouts
Here the thousands
of life...

One-

Then two-

Followed by the numbers

and many…

And the verve evolves-

Grows-

Divides…

The fragments-

Thus scattered-

All around

Rise of-

Billions of thoughts-

Billions of religions-

Billions of “billions”-

The agony, hence, spreads...

A decade hushed

And passed...

The pain remains,

Somewhere!

"Twins"-so- estranged!

“…division” hence

Seeks a way out!

To unite...

The thoughts-

That shall never unite!

Finally

Blasts out

 The 9/11!

Interesting adaption of the 9/11... Really a sight many of us don't want to see in any angle... But really beautifully written... Wonderful job...

this poem just shows how much hate there still is and to think the only time we as The U.S.A. can come together is after something so profound can happy then 3 hours after the event were right back to hating one another..good poem

9-11 change the world for the bad. Allow hate and disappointment to cause war and hate. I pray for better days. A excellent poem.
