Diluted !!!

Diluted !!!

A Poem by Sanjeeta Sharma Pokharel "Hridayaninadini"
"

You and I are Perishable....All these possessions are perishable..So I dedicate this piece to Our Perish-ability

"

Diluted !!!

I , hereby , dedicate this part of my imagination to the World where everything gets diluted....

Concentrated Ambiance
Pulls You
to get diluted
with the air
that faintly cross
the hills
Ripples the Pond
and
Get mixed up with the soil

The Emotions within You
Will get diluted
when those tears
washes your eye-lashes
& topples down on the letter..
Your words
hence
diluted...

When the massive crowds
cries for You
You , Alone and
The swarm of Heads
Applauding hands
Brave , you stand
Head high
Your Fear
hence
diluted...

When You are resting your body
On the death bed
You smile
the World drops their hearts
You are
Perishable
and
Finally,
Your smile , Diluted...

World mourns !!!
and
It's the truth!!!
God has
His own ratio
To dilute
You and the Space
its
Zero is to two ratio
Where
Your Normality seldom matters
Your creed seldom matters
Your possession seldom matters...

After all,
You are meant to be
Diluted..!!!

When I first read "Diluted" I was going to say, "nay" we are not diluted...I don't want to be diluted...not me...however
as I read and re-read this classic poem...I began believing what you were telling me...and the reality of it all...is that we do dilute and wane and eventually fade away.
Dilute, if you will...A very powerful write and not only did I love it..........I felt it.

This is awe-inspiring, so sublime. We do seem to be overly-focused on the things that don't matter. This rises the most poignant of all questions: purpose and answers by illustrating human insignificance and our inability to truly capture anything. We never truly experience. We live in a shadow realm no matter how much we achieve. This is nicely brought home through the images of centrality to the triumphant crowd, applause and the eulogies surrounding death.

Somehow I hate the idea that we are diluted--don't you think poetry undilutes?

you are not only a good poet, but a great philosopher, and satirist as well, nice job

this was breathtaking...it has a 'spoken' quality about it. I would love to hear you read it to hear your emphasis and inflection. This is so pertinent for today too...where we dwell on so many things that just don't matter at the end of the day...and the things here you have hi-lighted, touch the heart deeply and truly move the soul. Thank you for reminding us to 'feel' with this poem. I believe you are a poet that could change the world...if it was your calling to do so. :o)

You write with truth and passion, this world seems diluted nowadays. Love never seems as pure as it once was. Great poem.
