An Abandoned Freedom

An Abandoned Freedom

A Poem by Sanjeeta Sharma Pokharel "Hridayaninadini"
"

This work of mine is dedicated to the freedom..freedom of being myself...freedom of letting the cage open..freedom of holding the head high...freedom of flying in the sky

"

"He" lets "Her" free
to feel the dews
under her bared feet
Her arms stretched up
the breeze passes by her ears
Gently,
they whispered the pristine hymns
the pure oozes
touched her charred cheeks
And slides down her neck
She moves her hands
to touch those lilacs
the Wild flowers
the Butterflies
The Tapestries of grasses
She bounces up high
the freed dove
She sang..
Delighted
She can Speak !!!
She twists her body
An Arch
She can move !!!
She yells out
"No more
The shackled Freedom
Freedom of Gasping
Conditions
Heartless Commitments
Biased Compulsion..
Hereby, I break the Disagreed Agreements"
And,
Finally,
Discontinuing the Chains
the Manacles of Partiality

"He"  lets "Her" free to
Feel an Abandoned Freedom...

Marvelous imagery, wrapped up in this poem, to break free of the constraints placed on us from our childhood, to shake off those bonds is very difficult to acchieve, but to gain our own sight, to see the world through our own understanding is worth all the pain and ridicule it may take to at last be FREE..............Excellent poetry

I like the feel and emotion of this poem. Made me feel better and hopeful after reading.
Last line and artwork made the poem complete. A outstanding poem. Thank you.

Your poem is packed with emotion and energy! There is so much going on and yet, at the end, it feels light and free!

There is so much in such a short poem and that's what I liked best. You managed to fit in all the emotion, belief, and happiness all into one piece. This was very well written.

how liberating! your poem creates prestine imagery. one can be free in absolute sense only if he submits himself to nature. awesome read. thanks for sharing :-)

The real raw emotion of being set free from a tie that binds us to suppression is well expressed here in your poem.. It shows the freedom felt in being set free... I think you penned those emotions beautifully here.. :) xx
