" The Highland Love"

[ I wrote this poem on my way up to Indian Hills.....so want to dedicate it to Uttarakhand's high Himalayas]

" The Highland Love"

The Damsel with the verdent moss-quiet-turf-clad,

high on the Earth ,stretches her slender arms...

to the glittering horizon, drive me so crazy and mad

i go, Every creeping wild lilacs that articulate...

and adorn her , make her perfect beauty to blossom...

the misty veil..that hides her charm, to let..

us float in the crooks of curiousity...

the fruits of pines that hangs to and fro..

the woods that forms a complex tapestry...

adds the flavor, the rustling wind that blows..

carry away her whisper down the valley...

divinely lay that the birds twitter ...

make her beauty ..Spell-bound..

the cascade of the springs..that seems...

a lock of hair that curls down...

those rhododendron..forms vermilion on her forehead...

don't you feel, that it tantalizes you...???

the natural charisma, divine beauty and her timid hue...

...don't you feel..that you fell in love???

with nature-A perfect highland Love...

I loved the feel and the imagery from this poem, I felt like I was right there with you experiencing everything, however the one thing that bothered me was the punctuation at the end of each line. The ect... made it somewhat difficult to find the flow of the poem, but despite that it was a great write.
