Her "Odyssey..."

Her "Odyssey..."

A Poem by Sanjeeta Sharma Pokharel "Hridayaninadini"

Surpassing…
the melancholic moments of truth…
She reached
the hinterland
Where whirled the equanimity…

Under the shed
Of her bygones…
She rests with a dream…
A little tint of hope
To paint the future…
Unseen!

She learnt to in-act,
In the circumstances,
So solemn!
And to pass silently
Through the hilarity
And claps…

The night crept in…
And unfurled
The veil of shadows…
The stars entrenched within
She feared no evils,
With a lantern of faith…
She traversed the hours of darkness…
And furthers her Odyssey…

Sanjeeta, you have excelled with this poem. I see you in it and all the others that have gone before you and will come after you... walking this particular stretch of road. The message and emotion transcends the words. One of your finest poems, thus far, in my opinion.

Thanks Leslie.
A student of mine once told me working life is like having five tongues and six faces. Your poem sounds like it wants to say exactly that. Nice.

painting futures unseen marvelous vision.

You've portrayed the unseen moments of the odyssey, the times alone, the silent periods of the hidden heroic.

Great prose.

Thanks Roarke.
I was reading this one aloud and I must accept it sounded so bloody melifluous that I'm now donw to turn this into a song when I have more time at my hand...

Well Done...
