A road to Mountain...

A road to Mountain...

A Poem by Sanjeeta Sharma Pokharel "Hridayaninadini"

As always,

She stood valiant,

Whilst

The gush of wind whirled…

The ambiance hushed!

Complicated, it appeared…

A road to mountain…

And,

The flag of hope flapped,

She followed, the beats of her heart,

The crowds observed, expected, so they clapped,

And she started- a journey

A road to Mountain…

Glare not, oh Sun! Onto her curious eyes,

For she must reach the acme

Despite of those slimy boulders,

She must head to-

A road to Mountain…

Her dreams knew that,

When those lofty hills...

Inspired her feet,

She'll climb the rocks,

Where the destiny will meet-

A road to Mountain...

She climbed that rock,

The world beneath-

The wind whispered,

A road to Mountain-

What else, does she need!!!

On the mountain the view of the scope of chaos becomes clearer. It provides one stable view of the experience from which we can draw other perceptions, but where we don't even start with an opinion on things, we get no where. Such is the road to the mountain ..... it is a choice that has been made.

:)
I like this piece. It could be developed into a Sestina very easily. The repetitions remind me of mantras as the beads move through my fingers.

Thank you Michael. I am inspired.
When the trip to the mountain is won,she still has many works ahead.
She ,however, needs a recognition at this stage.
She has to take another road to another mountain.
She can't stop the journey of life.

We must keep going forward and climb many mountains. I like the story and the artwork. We must be strong and teach our children to be the same. Nothing easy in life is worthwhile. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

Nice work with some fine lines like The ambiance hushed - and the theme is good too, well done.
