Lovely flowing write and so real to take the happy ever After and make it real quite an artistry you did it so well. Love the pictures too complements the write. love these lines About her love…
That she gifted her heart-
To the prince-
Who was, once, a frog!
To the prince-
Who was an ugly-beast!

i enjoyed the tale in the poem. I like the beginning and the open ending. Fairy tales are for the dreamers. Good to hold on to some dreams. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.

To borrow from the fairies the references to love is certainly a better way to speak of love than to borrow the references from the butcher. But do we think in borrowing from the fairies we apply less effort for its recovery?
Love begets love and it may appeal to us to do all that and to deal with the butchers of love with love. How else would one discover love?

I wholly agree on your thoughts too :) Thanks Dayran :)
We all have dreams of how it might be... This fairy-tale dream comes from a heart that needs to be cherished, a woman that needs to be truly loved... and the longing that somehow one day there will be a prince is an ache within...
