War - My brothers are fighting...

A poem on war.

Far, far away
on the frontier,
my brothers are fighting...

Guns everywhere,
hands dripping with blood,
and the corpses are lighting...

What is this war?
Who drew these lines on land?
It was certainly not God,
and now it's out of our hands...

My brothers are killing each other
making my mother cry.
And she is sitting in trauma,
just wondering "why?".

Bullets flying from both sides,
blood spilling like water.
But waiting at the home,
is a five year old daughter..

Looking out from the window,
she's waiting for her dad.
But he ain't coming back,
and this is making her sad..

In name of region, religion, color,
we are fighting.
It's our own extinction,
that we are inviting...

Please, someone,
Stop this madness,
Stop this rioting...

Far, far away,
on the frontier,
my brothers are fighting...

Wow. I feel this is one of the most powerful poem I have read in your profile so far!
Wars are one of the worst things born out of human race. It's all like death for death. Bloodshed everywhere. People dont realize we all are supposed to be equal. So many innocent souls are killed. Why? Just because our so called developed minds are not able to find a solution and only want revenge.

Wars create crazy scars.. It's hurtful how soliders have to step into the bloodshed despite all htey have to lose, to gain. It is sad how families are left strewn due to the lose. A deeply touching write Sanjh!
