Whispers in the WindA Poem by PoeticVandal
If you'll listen close I'm sure you'll find,
Sweet little nature's whispers in the wind. What the sun tells the cloud when it shines for the moon, Or the buds assuring the sun that they'd flower out soon. Cocoons tell the leaves they'll leave their embrace, And deer, they repent to the grass they graze. Pollens beg the butterflies to slow down, Insects celebrate as they move to town. The stars that twinkle constantly say, Those creatures witness us from years away. Morning dew that clings unto the flower, A crown of diamonds it doth gift to her. The watery tides upon ragged rock, A playful duel and a delightful mock, Birds, they sing to their trees awake, With mouths fluttering open even the fish partake. Red autumn leaves to their trees they say, I will soon return on a bright spring day.... © 2013 PoeticVandalReviews
