Angel's whisper

A poem about conscience....

A tiny innocent voice,

Riding the winds of the mind.

It fights the turbulence of temptation,

Teaching us to be truthful and kind.

In the face of failure it has cried many a time,

It cries not for itself but for another.

Who by ignoring its voice have fallen,

Burned by the inferno of desire.

Its prickly stab shows us,

That we have strayed from a divine road.

All it does is advise us,

For it is the wisdom that God bestowed.

Its stays by our side forever,

Like an angel's sweet whisper.....

brilliant - i liked it! a great way to express how our conscience pricks us every time we take a wrong turn. 'Angel Whisper" - i liked that name, it does well for conscience. we often ignore it, its just a whisper after all , its easy to forget it some times - that is, until "Its prickly stab shows us,
That we have strayed from a divine road."
