One step at a time

My own thoughts on dealing with depression and generating the will to fight against it

work, life, sleep, breathe.

Everything one step at a time, 

everything on the turn of a dime

Just as we get settled

life shifts again

just as we get settled 

life shows that its no friend 

confusion, strife, hesitation

it's all just another form of subjugation

domination 

of a world we struggle to conceive  

of a world made only to deceive 

we try to find the light

we try to find the truth

we try to find a reason to continue 

all the while calling out

calling out only for you 

only for you, only for me

left in silence

but I guess thats the way its meant to be 

the world is against you

the world is a challenge 

all we can do is fight

stand for what we know is right 

till then...

it's just work, life, sleep, breathe
