For YouA Poem by SanityI wrote this for an event a friend of mine was hosting a little while ago about domestic violence.
The one who cared for so long?
She's dead It wasn't just another shot ...Is that really all you thought? she cared for you she cried for you ...she died for you and now... no more you closed that door by your hands ...those cold, cold hands you ended her life something beautiful that you tainted with nothing but strife what gave you the right to play with others lives? this is why we need change this is why we need new sight and maybe if we did... she wouldn't have died last night she would be right here and everything would be alright ....but she isn't we need change now and I'll tell you how care for her cry for her be willing to die protecting her from the horror of this world both without and within show her love not hate for when your laying there all alone that's all you can appreciate show the world you have a clue the change starts here the change... begins with you © 2012 Sanity |
