CommunionA Poem by The ArchonPeaceful steps beneath the trees More than sound or scent of breeze Wind swoops down beneath my wings Lifts my spirit as the foliage sings Morning sun and thriving life Far from restless fighting strife Expelling fear, that borne of night Strung afar by ceaseless might Instilling tones within my heart Luminous beauty set apart Of that most sacred to embark A journey leading from the dark As if Gaia herself did see A mortal man who wished to be Something more and something free Bestowed on me this mystery
