You're a dream

You're a dream

A Poem by Sangria Green

You’re like a dream, a drug, or poem

An addictive paradox with rising steam

With something better in mind

Despite embarrassed turns and self hurting words

With purposes unkind

Smirking sadistically baby

And I can’t wrap it around my mind

All this time glaring fighting laughing with you

I’m falling deeper into you

You say there’s nothing I can do

And I can’t wrap it around my mind

In your eyes seduction clearing riding through

Though that may not be for which you strive

And my body wanton calls for you

Am I your drug?

You seem be getting off on me

But maybe I won’t let me see

Always smirking sadistically

Stead driving me crazy

Got me right where you want me to be

Feeding off my every vulnerability

And I can’t think

I freeze…

I don’t know what to say

You’re a dream I’m dreaming every day

Who...wha--when...

When'd you write this?

It's short simple, catchy and WAY different than most of your writing-in a good way. It's more straightfoward, and more 'relationship' based...and I'm just kinda...curious about it.

I haven't seen this one before, what made you write it?
