You're a dreamA Poem by Sangria GreenYou’re like a dream, a drug, or poem An addictive paradox with rising steam With something better in mind Despite embarrassed turns and self hurting words With purposes unkind Smirking sadistically baby And I can’t wrap it around my mind All this time glaring fighting laughing with you I’m falling deeper into you You say there’s nothing I can do And I can’t wrap it around my mind In your eyes seduction clearing riding through Though that may not be for which you strive And my body wanton calls for you Am I your drug? You seem be getting off on me But maybe I won’t let me see Always smirking sadistically Stead driving me crazy Got me right where you want me to be Feeding off my every vulnerability And I can’t think I freeze… I don’t know what to say You’re a dream I’m dreaming every day
