We say we're through

We say we're through

A Poem by Sangria Green

We say we’re through with all the junk

We say we’re through with all the s**t

we lie

We look up stare up at the sky

we look up stare up at the sun

we’re blind to it

In this darkness

I never thought that I’d be the one

Thought that I’d forever be caught in this slum

The stars tonight are all shining

Stare at the red moon

Our angels are crying

We realize we’re through

We realize they’re dying

Our angels are crying

we realize they’re dying

And in this light I realize I’m dying too

Every second today

You complain of the whining

You look up at me yet to realize you’re lying

Don’t care a thing about angels and dying

Don’t care a thing about angels and dying

At some point I realize We’re lying

At some point I realize We’re flying
