We weren't meant to be

We weren't meant to be

A Poem by Sangria Green

I'll cut off the feet that walk to you

I'll envy those who go through what I’ll put them through

I'll cut off the hands that touch you

I'll watch them do what I want to do

I'll cut out the eyes that admire you

Walk around high from hiding you

Why do you beg and cry for us

I'll end it I'll end it

Bleeding in dust not really decapitated

Crying and laughing

I'll be glad you made it

I want you

I hate you

Good bye We're through

I'll cut off the feet that walk to you

I'll envy those who go through what I’ll put them through

I'll cut off the hands that touch you

I'll watch them do what I want to do

I'll cut out the eyes that admire you

Dying and shutting my eyes

this is not my final goodbye

our memories will survive

our memories will poison their minds

as we're fragile and can't hide our cries

I'll cut off the feet that walk to you

I'll envy those who go through what I’ll put them through

I'll cut off the hands that touch you

I'll watch them do what I want to do

I'll cut out the eyes that admire you

I'll cut out these eyes that admire you

Walk around high from hiding you

and when you wake up ask if it was true

I'll cut off the feet that walk to you

Fly away and break my heart

I'll only come back and tear you apart

and we'll fight and flight until the end

until the night when we'll start again
