Mask

Mask

A Poem by Sangria Green

I wish I could drop this act

Peel off my face for all to see

Wish you could take off my mask

But then I won’t feel free

And I’m walking on thin ice and

a high wire over glowing coals

If I slip up just once every one

Freezes up and I can’t get pass the burning cold

And the there I am making a fool of myself and everyone smiling

laughing at my joke

Hey maybe I can be real funny

But isn’t it for me to decide

that even I think  I’m stupid its getting harder and harder to hide

And I’m walking on thin ice

and a high wire over glowing coals

If I slip just once everyone freezes up

and I just can’t get pass the burning cold

Sitting alone in my room rarely

 I can’t do what I want to

cause if I stop this crusade

then your realities will

shatter

Hey I’m not the most popular so why do I have to be the most exciting

I ask a question I’m stupid

or just being funny

Maybe I’m just weird

Yeah that’s the problem cause even if I were normal there would still be to many problems to solve them

I wish I could drop this act

Peel off my face for all to see

wish you take off my mask

But then I won’t feel free

And I‘m walking on thin ice and a high wire over glowing coals

If I slip just once everyone

Freezes up and I can’t get pass the burning cold

And then there I am making a fool of myself and everyone’s smiling

and laughing at my joke
