Ashes of memoryA Poem by SanghitaThis is a poem about my late beloved father..
Where have they gone?
Those delicate palms, that once used to move around my head? Where has it gone? That strong back which once used to carry me. Where has it gone? That calm lap which once used to make me fall asleep. Where has it gone? That vigorous voice which once motivated me. Where has they gone? That stiff fingers which once used to leave me never alone. Everything has gone. Turned into ashes of memory. That neither can be removed, Nor can be grabbed. Only ashes that hovers in the air, Prompts the eyes to blink and blink, Until tears come out. © 2016 SanghitaAuthor's Note
