I don't wanna fall in love and chance the hurt that it can bring

But you've made my heart bloom again, shown me so many things

I don't wanna look into your eyes and see a future bright

But I will because your love makes everything alright

I don't wanna taste your kiss and feel my breath leave my body

But your tenderness overwhelms, leaves me sayin' "oh my god"

I don't wanna run to you when everything is wrong

But I will cause your arms lift me up and make me strong

I don't wanna lie with you and feel so safe wrapped up in you

But I will because you've shown me, no harm you would do

I don't wanna let you in, to watch my walls as they fall

But I will because I trust you, I'm giving you my all

I don't wanna be your friend and all my secrets share

But I will cause you've shown me how much you really care

I don't wanna feel your body pressed up next to mine

But I will cause when I'm there, our hearts are frozen in time

I don't wanna watch you leave when I know you have to go

But I will cause you come back to me and it only makes us grow

I don't wanna cry for joy cause you fill a special place

But I will cause I see your love when I look into your face

I don't wanna be tied down, only one to love

But I will because I realize you're a gift from above.

I don't want to but I will

because of how you make me feel.

Written about someone that I sorely misjudged! That's EXACTLY why I don't wanna!!

you know that old saying? sometimes when it seems to good to be true it probobly is?
this holds such honesty and truth! words of wisdom and a message to others from

This is a very sweet and tender poem- putting aside all of the fear within, as the first line says-
"I don't wanna fall in love and chance the hurt it can bring."
(without the risk, the hurt is still inevitable because the two would still ultimately be torn apart)

This piece shows strength and in pure poetic words unveils the heart that seems so long desperate to be quenched by such a fire as rare, true love.

I know someone in my life who feels the same way about me. We are at a current stand still, if you will.

I assume things will always figure themselves out in their own way. Even though sometimes you got to fight for your result.
