Go Ahead And Call Me CrazyA Poem by poetforlifeGo ahead and call me crazy cause I'm in this same old place where everthing is hazey But I can see your face The pain, it feels familiar like a worn out country song My friends are takin bets on how long til you're gone.
Cause we've been here before the place you walk back in my life You catch me between husbands when you've finally left your wife I know I shouldn't listen to the promises you swear cause I'm down to my last tear ridin on a whispered prayer.
So, go ahead and call me crazy cause I'm in this same old place Where everything is hazey but I can see your face The pain, it feels familiar like a worn out country song My friends are takin bets on how long til you're gone.
A few late night conversations I still don't know where you stand What made you wanna call me when you're the one who ran I've waited for so long to hear your voice and feel your touch but you have to be the one that still wants ME that much.
Go ahead and call me crazy cause I'm frozen here in time I've never wanted this so badly just to know that you are mine. Your heartbeat, so familiar and I know it won't be long till I wonder when you're leavin how long til you're gone. © 2009 poetforlifeAuthor's Note
