Moving on with my life and excited about the future!

I'm setting me free.....

Free from this life I was never meant to live

Free from the promises no longer I can give

Free from the bondage of this lonely,lonesome place

Free from the tears always flowing down my face.

Free from the promise we never should have made

Free from the memories, I know in time will fade

Free from the ugly words, you hurl at me in anger

Free from the fear that my children are in danger

Free from the house, a prison that's become

Free to be my own partner, a fortress of one.

Free from the choices that have trapped me in this place

Free every day to never see your face

Free to breathe again,no longer suffocating

Free to love myself, independence, exhilerating!

Free to find my place in this world, I know is there

Free to love my children, free of these cares.

I'm walking away while there's still a piece of me

No longer in your prison, I'm setting myself free!!!

I'm getting out of a situation that I should have never been in. Thank God I will soon be free!!
