Understanding

Understanding

A Poem by poetforlife

You don't understand that I'm trapped in this life I live

I don't understand, you've given all you have to give.

You don't understand what I'd do just to escape

I don't understand the hell you go through each day.

You don't understand that you're all I think about

I don't understand, you think we'll never work it out.

You don't understand I pray for you always

I don't understand you're still alone at the end of the day.

You don't understand I want everything for you

I don't understand, you want nothing but us two.

You don't understand I'd give it all up and stop time

I don't understand I had it all when you were mine.

It seems we're at a crossroads, not truly understanding where the other is coming from or how the other is feeling. So many emotions. So many broken dreams. I wish there was understanding. Maybe then, there would be a solution.

what you MUST understand, is where you truly are and why your here.

once that has become crystal clear, none of these 'distractions' can bind you or fully break you any longer.

but until you do, you will just be running from one heartbreak to the next, trying to fit a square peice into a round hole unknowingly trying to complete yourself and be whole again. It is torture more so when a timeclock and a dark evil persues you and thwarts you at every turn and your awake to it all. That is true heartache and trust me I know heartbreak and loss very well.

but never give, because in the end it is worth it.

Understanding anything, anymore, seems to be a real trial for all of us. This was so lovingly and sincerely written and I wish for you your understanding.

I wish I had longer to stay within your words this morning but I will return. Three kids? Wow. I can't seem to keep up with a three year old Grandson that has decided to declare war with Grandma. LOL

Speaking of which, I hear my name being rather loudly called. Have a great weekend. I love your titles and I am eager for the time to come when I can come back to them.

Blessings,
Lesa

We think that we understand but in reality how could we?
we are not in the others shoes or vice versa, a game
one big game of Russian Roulette, you are damned if you do
and damned if you don't.

That's Love....... a complicated wonder... in the end I would rather
know it then not..........

Thanks for sharing this...
