Sonnet for BaileyA Poem by Rose MoonA sonnet for a newbornWhen first I looked upon that tiny face I saw wisdom in your soft countenance. Your eyes unseeing, looked upon each place with wonder, resting at her breast entranced. Curling closely skin to skin, erotic yet innocent, gentle and calescent. Soft hands rub your body, feels exotic. Lights dimmed, soothing glow on skin pearlescent. Soft breathing, small sighs, cooing sounds of love. Familiar voices whisper your new name with reverence. Absorbing eyes above identify your essence and proclaim. A toast to new lilfe! A celebration! A tiny miracle of our creation. © 2008 Rose MoonReviews
