A LIE

Has the world evolved so much that we can't believe anyone?

A lie is always good

When it comes to

The matter of mine

Somebody knocks at the door

It's a stranger to me

And to my house

What should I reply

To his query

Anyone else in the house

Should I say I'm alone?

Never for god's sake

For no not I

What he has come for

Destruction may be the reason

My parents are here, I told

When my dad was in the office

And mother was outside

Am I a liar?

If raping is his hobby,

'Liar' is not a gigantic career.

If i am not wrong then this is your best writing that i have read so far...in this short poem there is a deep theme actually this poem is really wonderful a poem that provokes its reader to think .....and actually that is the symbol of a good writer whose aim is not only to write a poem that will entertain others that others will like but a poem that has a strong message inside it , a poem that is meant to educate others , a poem that has the capability to speak out against all this social evils , which eat our society like temites eat wood and make it hollow from inside....

first of all it has many hidden scenario and question..if a lie has told to save a thing which is worth for you or to protect someone else, then it must be greatly awarded.. we should never allow a liar in our circle but must not avoid a lie which has more worth than a fair truth..we must always follow the beat of our heart which comes at first without considering the criticism of the world around us..
a very mature write from where many thing are to be learned!!!
