I like it - and very interesting! Something I could have agreed with 15 years ago, but not so much now. But I think you have expressed your frustrations about our society, etc. very well and poignantly. Beautiful.
In fact, it is a good "debating" starter for pupils in high school/university - to make them think and consider the history of women :)

But not much. Let us think about women of Syria,Iraq and Pakistan. Even in India women are suppressed. So it is not only about covering up us physically but rather mentally also by the name of the rules, regulations and religion.
Well written. I like the way you frame your words. I would change 'suffocated my hairs'. It doesnt quite work for me.
I hope we change from being a question to something else. But what a question!:) I like your style. Keep up the good work.
I did one Who am I ? Please review my work too.

Thank you so much, Madhusudha. May I know about you?
I'll grant you one question, about my afterlife experience and how I wish to still be amongst the sky's mystery. I enjoyed this writing and the ideal of rebirth. I drowned some years back and I still remember hearing my heart stop then seeing mentally heaven, which if I was to wish to be reborn, it wouldn't be too live another religion but to be...to be reunited with her. She's another story which I'd stand in heaven to watch over her.

Whenever you miss someone, you just wish to have a rebirth and to be united. But here, I was trying to portrait that it is not only the problem of one religion, but each of them do the same, though at certain times, it is not said anywhere in their holy books. Thank you :)

This one is quite interesting and very thought provoking. Keep up the good work.

It's a beautiful piece, but I won't agree with you, suffocation is a woman's choice. The woman today if she wishes, can overcome anything. but then again that's just my opinion

We have changed, but the society hasn't. We are all lucky to have our own choices, but there are many who do not. There are many who have got into that way of subjugation and never more think that they can come up. It is dedicated to them, dear Anamika.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed this piece of art which shows a different way of seeing the matter. After all, that is what life is about, different perceptions. Go on with the beautiful writing.
